n 1967 two important events happened in my life. First, I graduated high school then in July of the following summer, I was saved. One year later I moved to Texas to attend the Bible Baptist Seminary, where I graduated with Bachelor of Divinty Degree. While attending Seminary I met my wife, Tresa, and we have two children, Jason and Jodie. We are now proud Grandparents of two beautiful little girls, Shannon and Lila.
Also while attending Seminary and teaching Sunday School at Temple Baptist Church, the Lord called me to preach. For over thirty years I have been steadily preaching or teaching the gospel of Christ.
It has been my privelege to be in full time service for 27 years. I served at the Portsmouth Baptist Church of Portsmouth, Ohio, as a youth director for one year. Then I served for seven years as the assistant pastor of Temple Baptist Church, Fort Worth, TX.
God opened the door for me to pastor in 1982. I served 2 1/2 years at the First Baptist Church in West Portsmouth, Ohio. Then 1 year at Faith Baptist Church in Big Springs, Texas. In January 1986 I started Messiah Baptist Church. All this time we have been preaching the gospel of Christ. We continue to see folks saved. It is our prayer that God will use us until we hear the trumpet sound.
